Keeping track of one’s health, most especially the heart, is the most important thing that a person needs to do. With so many heart causing diseases out there, one must be vigilant to take all possible preventive steps to avoid heart problems, stroke or even death.
Taking care of one's heart is a combination of proper nutrition, diet, exercise and getting plenty of rest. The heart works hard everyday to support your bodily functions, the least you can do is to support it in any way you can to make that job easier. Even taking a heart supplement will help do the trick to prevent your heart from working too much.
Moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week assists in promoting a healthy heart. Cardiovascular activities like jogging, cycling, aerobic dancing and gardening helps the heart to pump up blood to the circulatory system for immediate disposal of the immediate organ recipient.
Try mixing aerobic and anaerobic exercises and stretches to promote a healthy production of oxygen in the body to give it a good workout. This in particular increases heart palpitation to a good and desired level - one that is sufficient for body processes to optimally function.
Metabolism increases, stress and tension is released, it helps to build muscles tissues and joints to keep you mobile, promotes good bowel movement and even supports your immune system.
Always seek the advice of a doctor before beginning any form of exercise program to make sure it is right for you. It has been said time and time again that unhealthy eating is a surefire way to kill your heart - so eat healthy foods and make sure that everything is balanced in between. A well balanced diet includes at least:
1. Low calorie diet, meaning eat more nutritious foods
2. Fish is heavy on high omega 3 benefits so eat more servings of fish if you can
3. Always read food labels and limit your intake of anything labeled trans-fat and hydrogenated oils, also limit or avoid fast foods and fried foods.
4. Bulk up on fiber, taking in at least 25 to 40 grams
5. Eat at least 6 cups of whole grains a day
6. Eat 5-6 servings of fruit and vegetables, for these have the essential vitamins and minerals that you need daily
If you think you need more than what your diet offers in order to provide better care of your heart more properly, CoQ10 is a vitamin like substance that helps the heart muscles and provides more energy that enables the heart to function more efficiently.
Folic Acid is in the B-vitamin family. It supports homosysteine levels that promote the hearts well being, and Phytosterols eliminates bad cholesterol from the system by inhibiting its absorption in the body.
