If you’re dealing with incontinence, you don’t have to put up with it and it doesn’t have to keep you from doing whatever activities you want to do.
There are products that you can use to help you feel better and take care of any leakage problems whether you’re at home, the office or going on a mountain hike with friends.
The kind of product that you’ll use will depend on how heavy the incontinence is.
If you have a mild case of urine leakage, then you can use a liner.
Incontinence liners are more absorbent than a regular panty liner and can soak up more wetness.
These types of items keep users fresh and help to keep the urine odor away, plus they offer a dryness not found in regular liners.
Incontinence pads come in different sizes, number in the package and different absorbency strength including overnight pads so that you can rest easy.
These pads come with a pH balance to keep odors away and they have a center that draws the urine away and traps it.
That means that you’ll stay dry no matter how many times you accidentally expel urine.
These pads are curved and formed to fit so that you won’t get any side leaks.
Though there’s often a stigma attached to the term “adult diapers,” it’s undeserved.
These products look like soft, white underwear and are as easy to use.
Some people prefer to use adult diapers to help with comfort against incontinence rather than pads.
These items are super absorbent with soft, thick material yet aren’t bulky.
They keep their shape no matter how often they’re pulled up or down and they fit gently around the legs.
For milder cases of incontinence, there are incontinence underwear products that can be used.
These look just like regular underwear. The only difference is that they have a soft foam crotch that protects against leakage so there’s no need to use a liner or pad.
This type is reusable and will last for several months. However, there are packages of incontinence underwear that you can buy that are disposable.
If you’re concerned about having leakage accidents while you sleep, there are bed pads and they come in either washable or disposable.
The washable ones are waterproof and made of highly absorbent material.
The washable ones don’t bunch up or scoot around on the bed or make an irritating noise whenever you roll over.
The disposable kinds have a cotton center and can be used to on beds, chairs and car seats to protect against leakage.
