Treating sunburn and mild burns with aloe vera gel

I have found that using Aloe vera gel is wonderful for any skin problems like mild burns, scrapes, cuts or good old sumer sunburn. Not only does it soothe damaged skin, it also definitely helps speed up the healing process massively.

Anyone who has sunburn or deeper burn needs to be super vigilant about maintaining a sterile area around the burn, and healing the damaged skin as quickly as possible before it can become aggraveted and result in permanent scarring, so the Aloe vera gel is crucial here, even for mild burns.

I find that aloe is also great to use as a basic 'tonic' or natural herbal toner for my face every day after my shower.

So even if I use nothing else that day on my skin, I have put a 'barrier' of natural herbal skincare on my face to protect it for the rest of the day.
