I LOST 22KG IN 24 WEEKS & WENT FROM A SIZE 18 TO A SIZE 10

When I first started on the products, I was very overweight, miserable and experiencing what the Doctors called an ‘anxiety related breakdown’, due to very stressful conditions at work and my extremely poor health.

One day, at one of my numerous doctors visits he asked me if I thought my weight problem was adding to my depression. I looked at him in horror, and asked “what weight problem?”

He made me stand on the scales, and to my disgust I weighed 86kg, I was in total shock! I knew that I had gained a few kilos, but I had no idea it was that much.

My Aunt had always made my clothes, and I guess she was just making them bigger and bigger. I hadn’t been clothes shopping in ages, and had no idea that I had ballooned back bigger than ever, & was a disgusting size 18.

Over the years, I had spent a lot of time and money in an effort to lose weight at places such as Gloria Marshall, Weight Watchers, and I’d also tried various other regimes with limited success each time.

I had previously heard about Herbalife for weight loss, and after what I now see as a blessing, though I didn’t at the time, I got out the phone book and rang my nearest distributor the very afternoon Jenny Craig refused me as a client because I was a Celiac (wheat intolerance), and had various food allergies - they considered me too difficult to help.

I was desperate at the time, and shattered, but upon reflection, thank goodness I found Herbalife!!

I got started straight away on a Quickstart program and lost 5kg in my first month. I had no idea that Herbalife was all about good nutrition and good health, I just knew that it was good for losing weight.

I upgraded onto extra products to make my weight-loss more efficient, and also started on some targeted nutrition products. I had no idea that all of the health conditions I was suffering at the time were diet related – and my doctors said nothing about my diet either.

Getting onto the extra products meant my health issues all began to improve rapidly over the following months - irritable bowel, eczema, crippling migraines and horrible periods, as a result I found myself giving up the numerous medications I was taking and eventually just threw them all away!!!

I went on to lose a total of 22kgs and reshaped from a size 18 to a size 10!!

At this point I became pregnant. I had awesome results throughout my pregnancy, taking the products for good nutritional support. I maintained energy and good health, and the 20 kilos that I put on during the pregnancy I lost in a short 16 weeks afterwards. I was just amazed with the results again, because of my years of struggling with my weight previously.

When I was 30 (& my daughter was one year old), I began taking Karate lessons. I felt I was one of the most unfit in the class, and definitely a late starter.

I trained hard and often, using the products for nutritional support and recovery after training sessions.

To my amazement within 3½ years I achieved black belt, which was much quicker than average for our style of Karate.

During the last three years, I have competed as part of the South Australian State Tournament Team, & have been competing in both Karate, & the “National All Styles” Tournaments. During that time I have won an Australasian Title, placed three times at a National Level, and have won four various State Titles.

I am the current State All Styles Champion in Kumite (Points Sparring), for both the Open Women’s Division (where I have to compete with all the young ones!), and in the Veterans Division (where I have to compete with the men!).

Earlier this year I changed how I was using the products to include more protein. This meant I could increase lean muscle, burn more body fat and achieve greater inch loss.

I have now lost an additional 10kg, and many more centimeters, including 15cm from my tummy alone in just 3 ½ months!

The added protein and the results have also helped me with my training. I have now started running, and my endurance has increased, along with my power and recoverability.

I am still amazed with my results, and find it hard to believe how far I have come from when I was that unhealthy, size 18 - the fat, blubbery, depressed mess that I was, now to the trim, fit, dynamic and motivated woman and mother that I am today. These products have helped me change my life.

I love being motivated and driven in my personal goals, I love being in control of my weight. I love being in control of my health. I love being free of all the medications that I used to take, and I am passing the legacy of good balanced eating on to my precious daughter.
