When it comes to the bipolar disorder you will find that there are many parts of the cycle. First, you will find that there is a depressive phase and then there is a manic stage. For the depression stage you will find that the symptoms of the disorder will include things like feelings of sadness, anxiety, guilt, anger, and isolation.
You will also feel things like hopelessness, disturbances in your sleep, loss of appetite, fatigue, and even a general loss of interest in life.
You will definitely find a loss in sexual activity, become shy, have social anxiety, and you'll become filled with pain, heaviness, and even some morbid thoughts.
As for the manic parts of the cycle, you will find that it is exhilarated and they will also become very paranoid and irritated. You will find that your thoughts will be racing and your physical or mental state will increase in rate.
You'll have plenty of energy and it may even seem like you have too much energy. Your speech will become so fast that you will become frustrated with how slow your speech is compared to the racing mind.
Your social skills will become impaired and you will become unpractical and you'll also find that it will make you impulsive.
You will also find that there is a state known as hypomania. This is where you will find a less destructive state than manic, but you still are in a manic episode.
This is a very short time period of mania. It is sometimes seen as an artistic state where you may fight over ideas, but you may end up coming up with clever ideas and you'll also become increased in energy.
Another part of the phase is known as mixed state. The mixed state is where you are both manic and depressed. This is where everything seems to be pulling you in every which way direction.
You will get aggressive, confused, tired, impulsive, morbid, panicky, and you may even have rage or racing body and mind. This is just one of the few states that you can go through.
Also you will want to know about things like rapid cycling because this is where you go through all the phases four or more times a year. It is where you may find it to be disabling.
You will also find that it can become worse when you take antidepressants. This is something that you might want to take in mind when it comes to the disorder.
It is very important that you take your mental health seriously. You don't want to let things go untreated because you may end up in worse condition that is necessary. You will want to make sure that you do everything you can to get the most out of life.
