Andrew - Ulcerative Colitis

My 22 year old son Andrew has suffered with severe UC for the last four years. It really did come out of knowhere! Two years ago, he was taking so many different steroids and various other drugs Pentasa etc that he suffered a burst duodenal ulcer and perforated bowel. He also had septicemia and the surgeon told us he was at best half an hour from death!

After leaving hosptial, apart from his thirty odd tablets he had to take,steroids etc, Andrew was also given another drug to take daily, which not only could have totally destroyed his immunity to everything, but he ended up back in hospital just a short time after with Pancreatitis. So he couldn't take that again.

For a year and a half after that last spell in hospital Andrew still had to take his thirty odd tablets a day, just to function. Although even with them he always felt poorly, went to the toilet at least 20 times a day, and had no energy at all. At our next appointment with the consultant, he dropped the biggest bombshell for him saying that there was nothing else they could do and that he had to have all of his colon removed. Andrew was completely devastated as you would expect for a young man of 22. He received a councilling session and when we left he said" I cannot do this mum, I would rather be dead".

It was then that I decided to do anything and everything I could to try and prevent this from happening. We tried acupuncture, but didn't really see any changes. I did lots of research on the internet, and kept seeing lots of positive comments for pure Aloe Vera, so I got in touch with the distributor who is about 30 miles away and she was just wonderful. Carol started Andrew off on three capfuls of aloe vera juice four times a day, and almost immediately, Andrew started to feel a little bit better. For the last ten weeks, he has continued with the aloe vera juice and all I can say is that it is the closest thing to a miracle I will ever see! He has gone from all those tablets a day down to one. He only has to go to the toilet about three times a day, and even then he can now control it. He has played football three times this week, and even been for a game of golf!I cannot remember the last time I saw him look so well and so happy and after consulting with Carol, he even had a glass of beer with his friends at the weekend, which is something he has longed to do for years.

I do not know if this a permanent solution, but thanks to Aloe Vera, my son now has his life back and I am just so so happy that he can now see a brighter future ahead.
